Nuclear Timepiece http://nucleartimepiecegc.com Nuclear Timepiece is a small independent game company with a passion for developing new game mechanics. Mon, 17 Mar 2014 07:51:26 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.8.2 Ping Pong Challenge http://nucleartimepiecegc.com/?p=173 Mon, 17 Mar 2014 07:49:40 +0000 http://nucleartimepiecegc.com/?p=173 Our version of Pong has undergone some exciting new changes! We have updated some of the programming to make it run smooth, and we have added a Facebook log in feature. You can log in and share your high score with the leader board system, similar to the one in Alec Sketchman. Also, we have now made it compatible with all android operating systems that are higher than 2.3, and released it on the Amazon App store, giving all people with Amazon devices access to it as well.

Project Neon http://nucleartimepiecegc.com/?p=165 Thu, 13 Mar 2014 03:31:49 +0000 http://nucleartimepiecegc.com/?p=165 Our latest project is an exciting endless jumping game. Unlike traditional methods though, we have incorporated a unique mechanic that you will see when the game is released. The game has a neon theme with an adorable little squish cube as the main character.

Project Neon will be a highly competitive game, which starts off slow almost like a “children’s mode” and then progressively becomes faster so to the point only pros will be able to get there.

Are you a pro at gaming? Beta testers wanted.

If you wish to be a beta tester for Project Neon and other future Nuclear Timepiece projects, fill out this application with the subject of
“apply” or “beta testing” and include your device model and the current Android operating system.

Hello, world! http://nucleartimepiecegc.com/?p=29 Sun, 09 Mar 2014 00:49:33 +0000 http://nucleartimepiecegc.com/?p=29 Nuclear Timepiece is an independent game company established in February 20th, 2014 by its founder, Thym. With a strong passion for pushing past the already set guidelines for game mechanics, Thym programmed many things under traditional methods, and after making yet another game that’s been done before (Ping Pong Challenge), he decided it was time for a change. He looked at different types of game styles and decided to improve upon a classic technique for runner games to get his new style kick started, he innovated a way to incorporate a parabola system into the already popular game design. The parabola system is shown in his second work for his new company, Nuclear Timepiece, Alec Sketchman. Our mission at Nuclear Timepiece is to continue innovating new and unique ways to make classic games mechanics work, refreshing older and overused techniques, and creating new ones along the way. One of our goals is to give new opportunities to game developers, artists, and musicians.
