Nuclear Timepiece is an independent game company established in February 20th, 2014 by its founder, Thym. With a strong passion for pushing past the already set guidelines for game mechanics, Thym programmed many things under traditional methods, and after making yet another game that’s been done before (Ping Pong Challenge), he decided it was time for a change. He looked at different types of game styles and decided to improve upon a classic technique for runner games to get his new style kick started, he innovated a way to incorporate a parabola system into the already popular game design. The parabola system is shown in his second work for his new company, Nuclear Timepiece, Alec Sketchman. Our mission at Nuclear Timepiece is to continue innovating new and unique ways to make classic games mechanics work, refreshing older and overused techniques, and creating new ones along the way. One of our goals is to give new opportunities to game developers, artists, and musicians.
